In 2006, the exports of all sorts of batteries reached 23.6 billion pieces. The foreign exchange income by exportation surpassed US$ 7.5 billion dollars. Facing the fierce competitions in the domestic and foreign markets, the priority for the development of the Chinese battery industry is to adjust the structure of products, and oriented toward the high-tech and high value-added products, which has formed up a new hot spot of the Chinese battery industry.
